Kuhudak respects the intellectual property rights of writers, publishers, photographers, videographers, artists, and all copyright owners. We expect every member of our community to show the same respect.

This Copyright Policy explains how copyright-protected content may be used on Kuhudak, how copyright complaints are handled, and the responsibilities of users when publishing or sharing content.

By using Kuhudak, you agree to comply with this Copyright Policy.

1. Copyright Ownership

There are two types of content on Kuhudak:

A. User-Generated Content (Community Content)

You retain full copyright ownership of any original content you create and publish in the Kuhudak Community.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Articles and travel stories
Reviews
Comments
Photographs
Videos
Audio recordings
Illustrations
Graphics
Maps
Other original creative works

Publishing your content on Kuhudak does not transfer ownership or copyright of that content to Kuhudak.

B. Kuhudak Editorial Content

All original content published by the Kuhudak team on the website – including but not limited to:

Travel guides
Articles
Research-based content
History, heritage, and cultural content
Photographs
Graphics
Logos
Designs
Other editorial publications

is the intellectual property of Kuhudak.

Unless otherwise stated, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, or use this content for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Kuhudak.

2. License Granted to Kuhudak

When you publish content in the Kuhudak Community, you grant Kuhudak a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, and revocable license to:

Display your content on the platform.
Store and host your content.
Create technical copies of your content as necessary to operate the platform.
Resize, compress, or optimize your content for different devices and formats.
Feature or promote your publicly available content on the Kuhudak website, community, official social media channels, newsletters, and promotional materials, while providing appropriate credit to the original creator whenever reasonably possible.

This license is granted solely for the purpose of operating, improving, promoting, and providing Kuhudak’s services.

You always retain full ownership and copyright of your content.

3. Your Responsibilities

Before uploading any content, you confirm that:

You are the copyright owner of the content; or
You have the necessary permission, license, or other legal right to publish it.

You are solely responsible for all content that you upload or publish on Kuhudak.

4. Prohibited Copyright Infringement

You must not upload, copy, publish, distribute, or share any content that infringes another person’s copyright.

Examples include:

Copying travel articles from another website.
Republishing someone else’s photographs without permission.
Uploading videos from YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, or any other platform without authorization.
Scanning and publishing books or magazines.
Sharing pirated or paid digital content without permission.
Removing watermarks or copyright notices.
Claiming another person’s work as your own.

Simply giving credit to the original creator does not mean you have permission to use copyrighted content. Where permission is legally required, you must obtain it before publishing or sharing the content.

5. Third-Party Content

If you upload content created by a third party, you must have the legal right to publish or use it.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Licensed photographs
Stock images
Licensed music
Videos
Graphics
Maps
Logos

You are solely responsible for complying with any license terms, usage restrictions, or other legal requirements that apply to third-party content.

6. Music and Audio

You may not upload music, sound recordings, or other audio that you do not have permission to use.

Any background music included in uploaded videos must also be properly licensed or otherwise legally authorized for use.

7. Respect Community Content

Content published by members of the Kuhudak Community belongs to the respective content creator.

You may not:

Copy another member’s posts.
Download and republish community photos.
Share another member’s videos on other platforms without permission.
Use community content for commercial purposes without authorization.

Always obtain permission from the original creator before using or sharing community content outside of Kuhudak.

8. Copyright Infringement Reports

If you believe that your copyrighted content has been used without authorization, you may submit a copyright infringement report.

Please include the following information in your report:

Your full name
Your contact information
A description of the copyrighted work
The URL or location of the allegedly infringing content
A statement explaining why you believe the content has been used without authorization
A statement confirming that the information you have provided is accurate
A statement confirming that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Submitting an incomplete report may delay the review process.

9. Notice and Takedown

Upon receiving a valid copyright infringement complaint, Kuhudak may take one or more of the following actions, as appropriate:

Review the reported content.
Temporarily disable access to the content.
Remove the content from the platform.
Contact the user who uploaded the content.
Request additional information from either or both parties when necessary.

While an investigation is ongoing, we reserve the right to keep the reported content unavailable if doing so is necessary to protect the rights of the parties involved.

10. Counter Notice

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or that you have the legal right to publish it, you may submit a Counter Notice.

Your Counter Notice should include:

An explanation of why you believe the content does not infringe copyright.
Any relevant information or evidence supporting your claim.

After reviewing the Counter Notice, Kuhudak may restore the content if we determine that reinstatement is appropriate.

11. Repeat Copyright Infringement

Accounts that repeatedly violate copyright may be subject to one or more of the following actions:

Content removal
Temporary restrictions
Temporary account suspension
Permanent account termination

The action taken will depend on the nature, severity, and frequency of the copyright violations.

12. Fair Use and Legal Exceptions

Applicable copyright laws may allow the use of copyrighted material in certain circumstances, including:

Fair Use
Fair Dealing
Quotation
Criticism
Commentary or analysis
News reporting
Education
Research

Kuhudak will evaluate each claim individually and may request additional information or evidence where necessary.

13. Copyright Statement

Kuhudak Community is a platform for publishing user-generated content. Users are solely responsible for the content they publish.

Except for content published in designated Premium or Exclusive spaces or categories, Kuhudak does not claim ownership of user-generated content and does not guarantee that all uploaded content is free from copyright-related issues.

All original content published by the Kuhudak editorial team – including articles, travel guides, historical and cultural content, research-based publications, photographs, graphics, logos, designs, and other editorial materials – is the intellectual property of Kuhudak.

Upon receiving a valid copyright complaint, we will take appropriate action in accordance with this Copyright Policy and applicable law.

14. False Copyright Claims

Knowingly submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent copyright complaints is strictly prohibited.

Anyone who intentionally files a false copyright claim may be subject to one or more of the following actions:

Restrictions on their account
Permanent account termination
Legal action where permitted by applicable law

We may reject or close reports that are clearly abusive, fraudulent, or submitted in bad faith.

The latest version will always be published on this page. By continuing to use Kuhudak after an updated version has been published, you agree to be bound by the revised Copyright Policy.
